What's up Mike. You are correct I am passionate about SMC and especially Football. I'm glad you are on the board here. I can't really out myself since, as you know, my role here is to stir the shit and I can't tell you how much pleasure it brings me. However, I am also serious about making SMC great and bringing Football back. I have spoken to Travis and I am on the email list and am paying close attention for opportunities to put my unique skill set to use. Keep up the great work Mike.

As much as I love SMC and football - the only reason why I made it to SMC, I just am not interested in opening discussion, right now, about playing again even under a club format supported by a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation for funding.

I am all for showing up and celebrating the heritage and football tradition and documenting that on the internet so that no one ever forgets the legacy.

I have met Rick Medeiros for lunch. He actually played one year at SMC before transfering to SCU.

Right now - today. I would say lets make all our programs better and winners and get them fully funded and get all the capital projects done then I could think about how a club football team could even be a reality and among the bay area schools, which would be a great little conference with SCU, USF, Stanford, Cal, Cal State East Bay, Sonoma St, San Francisco St, and possibly UOP and San Jose St. That's 10 teams. creating a 9 game schedule which would end just before Thanksgiving.
